The nose has aromas of beurre bosc, fresh lime wedge and ripe fig. Layers of complexity appear with blanched hazelnuts, sweet cinnamon, and apricots. The palate is defined by a fruit spectrum of pear, lime curd and lemon zest. Its liveliness is highlighted with
a pronounced, yet very fine acid structure, which tightens and directs the texture and fruit concentration. Subtle cinnamon and lemongrass provide further complexity.
"Light straw-green; the bouquet is fresh, but does not prepare the way for the palate, which has tremendous drive to its grapefruit-accented fruit; while 100% barrel-fermented and matured, it is driven by its fruit, not oak."

"Bright, with an herbal edge to the ripe pear and apple flavors, all of it fitting together smoothly as the finish lingers."
"Light yellow. Nectarine, honey and white flowers on the pungent nose. Broad and fleshy but dry, with focused orchard and pit fruit flavors and complicating notes of anise and mace. Packs a solid punch but shows very good structure, finishing spicy and long, with a lingering note of dried fig. Nicely balanced, with no excess fat. "
