Winemaker's Notes

Laurent-Perrier Brut L-P is the standard-bearer for the house style of Laurent-Perrier. Crisp, fresh and elegant, Brut L-P reflects the fundamental essence of our Champagnes.

The color is a pale golden hue, with fine and persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and delicate, showing good complexity with hints of citrus and white fruit. Brut L-P's light style has led the way to making Champagne the ideal aperitif drink. Its perfect balance, crispness of flavors and finesse also make it the ideal companion for fish, poultry and white meat.

Critical Acclaim

"Laurent-Perrier’s dry style is reflected in this crisp, elegant and fine Champagne. The character is mineral, taut, with a great burst of citrus and white fruit acidity. The ensemble creates a delicious food-friendly wine.

"Vivid yellow. Fresh pear and yellow apple on the perfumed nose and in the mouth. In a chewy, expansive style, but with good clarity and thrust. The pear note repeats on the persistent finish, which leaves notes of toasty lees, iodine and honeysuckle behind."

Was first introduced to this beautiful wine aboard a cruise ship of all places. I was not familiar with this label prior. Was so pleased with it's light crisp beautiful nature that it is now one of my two cellared special occasion champagnes (I enjoy prosecco as my everyday white bubbly). I also tend to stay away from the big name, more expensive champagnes as I feel like your just paying for the image. This is every bit as pleasing and enjoyable as the big labels at half the price.

I always love having a Laurent Perrier in my glass. The wine is fresh, lively and zippy from start to finish. A fantastic apperitif Champagne. This is one of stars of the non-vintage brut catgegory.

Crisp, fresh, sharp, full, clean, BUT not as bubbly as expected

It was pretty average. Nothing special, nothing terrible. Just an average-tasting champagne. The only reason I wouldn't purchase it again is because I've found some Spanish Cavas that taste better for 1/2 the price of this.

Learn About Champagne

Champagne is both a region and a method. The wines come from the northernmost vineyards in France and the name conjures an image like no other can. An 18th Century Benedictine monk named Dom Perignon is said to be the first to blend both varietals and vintages, making good wines not only great, but also special and unique to their winemaker. Today, nearly 75% of Champagne...

Learn About Non-Vintage

Non-Vintage Most Champagne you encounter will be NV, or non-vintage. This is because the base wine is a blend of wine from multiple vintages. In producing non-vintage wines, Champagne houses strive to keep the taste consistent year by year, and non-vintage wine provides the winemakers flexibility in blending, ensuring a constant style each year. Non-vintage Champagne...
