"There are 18,000 cases of the delightful 2007 Las Rocas Garnacha, a wine sourced from Calatayud vineyards ranging in age from 70 to 100 years. Dark ruby in color, it delivers alluring aromas of spice box, mineral, cherry, and black raspberry. Layered on the palate, it has superb depth, succulent flavors, and a pure, lengthy finish. It will provide pleasure over the next three years. The Las Rocas label has become synonymous with value in recent years." The Wine Advocate
This was my first time drinking this particular grenache, and was surprised how good it tasted. I almost finished the bottle before I remembered to have some with a meal.
I took this wine to a Christmas dinner party. I've never tried this wine before and after tasting it, it poured smooth, had a smooth texture and smooth taste. I wish I had brought more.
This is a very high value affordable wine, consistently over the last few vintages, at least. I encourage you to try it.
Sometimes comes bottles with no so good taste...but usually is great value for money.
I would highly recommend this wine. It is an excellent wine for the price.
We love this wine, and have received numerous compliments when serving it at parties.
This vintage continues the tradition of Las Rocas' reliably good garnachas. Lovely mouth feel -- not astringent -- cherry/berry/fruity -- one of our favorites.
I thought the wine was terrible. It tasted like someone stored it by a furnace. I'd say maybe corked but it has a plastic cork. Sorry. I wanted to enjoy it. Could be a bad bottle but only had one.
