Excellent wine for the price. Let it decant for at least an hour before serving.
Read these reviews and just sampled. Terrific, very close to Wine.com profile, not oak as listed. I'm enjoying this and will definitely go for a few more bottles to keep on hand. Excellent, well-balanced, budget wine for gatherings.
The perfect wine to have around the house for quiet eveings at home and our evening glass of wine. We always keep a case around.
I'm not a huge red wine drinker - as they tend to give me a headache - but this one was spicy, smooth, and delicious and didn't give me a migraine afterwards. :-)
The depth and complexity of this wine can really only be understood when tasting this blind. Put it in a line up with others cost 2-3 times more and it will be rated as one of the highest in the group.
I'm really no wine connoisseur, but I thought this was great. I'm ordering more.
Mo likes better than LAN Rioja
Every year, this is the best value Granache on the market. Fill your cellar allocation for non-cabernet reds with this wine.
There are very few wines that I will drink that cost under $50.00 dollars per bottle. This wine is being added to that list.
But it looks like you won't get to try it since it's now out of stock :-( If it comes back, buy some!
Will certainly purchase again. For the price, it's a perfect every day or fine dinner pairing.
at a bargain price! tasted like a more expensive wine, with its coomplex flavors. definitely will buy again.
Wine was just ok. Nothing special. Wasn't bad, wasn't great.
Just OK...drinkable...but I'd buy a Tin Roof Merlot over this Grenache.
Yeah for the price you cannot really go wrong. My biggest complaint was the 14.5% of alcohol which can be pretty difficult to balance out. You get a bit tipsy ;) Besides the alchoholic undertones you do get some nice fruit in there. Even though it is unoaked it does seem like you pick up a little on the nose with some hazelnut on the side. Taste wise the wine is very velvety and did I mention alcoholic??? I am curious to try the 2006, but beside its strong price point I would ignore it.
This seemed over rated. There is nothing really wrong about it, but it was quite light, and even after decanting it never really opened up.
Sorry, but I have to agree with J Thompson that I can't tell if it is a 90, and it just seemed a bit raw, young wine and just ok to drink
It did not have much nose or finish. The higher alchohol level of this wine seemed to override the subtle fruit flavors. if this is a 90 I guess I do not know what they are looking for in a wine. Drinkable but not a re-purchase.
This wine had a strange after taste. It was drinkable, but I will not purchase it again.
