Dense and attractive purple color. Very intense and complex nose of blackberries and cherry fruits, intermixed with black chocolate and pepper notes. A mouthfilling wine, with explosive richness, nicely integrated oak, smooth tannins and very long finish.

This is a huge merlot! I'm not a merlot fan, but this drinks bigger than their cab of the same year. Firm tannins and great depth. Spicy, rich fruit...like a good cab/shiraz blend.

Excelent tannin structure allows for a very soft merlot that even a cab junkey can enjoy. Round fruit mixed with a soft finish makes this one of the best merlots for the money.
