Lamole di Lamole is the name of an enchanting hollow valley in the heart of Chianti Classico, that is more than 500 years old. Once our winery was the cellar for the castle that stood in this basin. A special feature of the estate is that the vineyards are situated in one of the highest points in Chianti Classico, which imbues the wines with elegance and intense, terroir driven aromas. Over the years, the estate's programme of clonal selection has identified the two site-specific Lamole clones of sangiovese that give the cellar's products their unique character.
