At first glance, this wine shows a well-defined red ruby color with blue hints. Aromas of smoke, blackberries, and raspberries; slightly spicy. It is robust with sweet and balanced tannins and a velvety finish.
"The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 8 months in new French and American oak inner-staves. Fragrant aromas of Asian spices, incense, cassis, tobacco, and violets inform the nose of a layered, spicy, nicely balanced wine with a forward personality. Drink this excellent value over the next 3-4 years. "

Smooth & Supple
Lamadrid I loved you but you broke my heart.....Not really but kinda. I had really high hopes for this wine I find that there are some really great values in $20-25 Argentina Reds. This one is not bad by a long shot. Spicy on the the nose smooth initial taste with a long and enjoyable finish. Typical dark fruit and earth. Deep red to almost purple color which I have loved from a number of Argentina offerings. Not a bad wine by any means I just had higher expectations. It's me not you Lamadrid, it just wasn't meant to be.
