The Tinguiririca River (Indian for "Loud River") flows from high in the Andes mountains across Chile to the Pacific Ocean. In the spring, when the snow-capped peaks begin to melt, the placid stream becomes a raging torrent.
Loud River Roaring Red is a full-bodied powerful blend of peppery Petit Verdot, spicy-fruity Carmenére and rich Cabernet Sauvignon. It shows expressive fruitiness in the nose, bursting with rich, ripe plums and blackberries sparked with spices. In the mouth, it is well balanced, showcasing the freshness of the fruit alongside forceful tannins for a tasty, round and long finish.
With its deep, ruby red color and robust flavors, it's an excellent complement to juicy barbequed meats and spicy foods.
50% Petit Verdot, 40% Carmenere, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
I have never had luck with lower-priced reds - but this one is a winner. It was a club selection and one I would never have tried had wine.com not sent it to me. Full-bodied, fruity, chocolatey...all the characteristics of a wine 5 times as expensive. Highly recommended, especially at this price!
This wine is not to strong, but, is what every wine should be; rich with flavor and smooth to the pallet. This is one of the best inexpensive wine I have ever had! Try it; you'll agree
Loud and roaring is certainly what it is. I'm not a fan of this but those who like wine on the stronger side will probably love this one.
