About L'Abbaye de St. Ferme:
The property is located in the Bordeaux Supérieur region near the medieval town of St. Ferme, and was once owned by Benedictine monks. The Abbey itself – a monument dating from the 14th century - has been remodeled by current owner Arnaud de Raignac as a home for his wife and children. His family has been making wine and living in the region for five hundred years.
Arnaud de Raignac is a rebel of a Renaissance man - born from tradition, but forging a new path for Bordeaux with his affordable, well-structured, mouth-filling, elegantly rich wines wearing the non-traditional, imaginative label of a 14th century architectural floor-plan of the Abbey. There is an affordable, well-made, delicious Bordeaux! |
