Winemaker's Notes

Pale yellow in color with greenish reflections. The nose is reminiscent of acacia flowers and the delicate scent of almonds. Clean and refreshing on the palate with hints of linden and honey. Recommended with risotto dishes and grilled white meats.

Made from 100% Pinot Grigio
The first vintage was bottled in 1992, and 960,000 bottles are produced annually.

Production area: Montagna and Mulinat in Friuli - located 800-1,600 ft. above sea level, with South/Southwest exposure and a silt and clay soil composition

Vineyard characteristics: 330 acres planted in 1965/1985 with a density of 1,600-2,000 vines per acre. The vines are planted in the Pergola Trentina/Casarsa/Guyot method and yield 6.6 tons per acre.

The harvest was carried out in early September

Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 68-71 degrees for 8-12 days.
