    Winemaker Notes

Les Noisetiers is produced in order to illustrate a regional nature to our efforts. It is a combination of specific lots from within our vineyards of designate quality that are situated in far western Sonoma County. We began creating Les Noisetiers upon noting that there was an inherent mineral tone in the lots from our vineyards planted in these coastal sandy goldridge soils, one that belongs to the family of noble sulfides. An austere, low pH, high acid wine, the character Les Noisetiers is driven by mineral characters as opposed to fruit, and is a natural compliment to food. For these reasons alone, it is a wine that we have specifically bottled for our restaurant accounts.

Vibrant green-yellow. Distinct nose of minerals, earth, and refined noble sulfides. A medium-weight, balanced presence on the palate, tightly wound around a resounding acid core, that carries through and beyond the crisp, yet lengthy and lasting finish.
