Bright garnet with ruby tint. A nose of sweet cherry, tobacco, earth, raspberry, oak, floral notes.
Flavor of blueberry, dried cherry, chocolate and spice. Silky mouthfeel, lively mid palate and a round finish.
This is what I'd term a lighter-bodied Pinot Noir. It's bright & fresh red fruits are backed by a pleasing spice. Lots of zesty acidity, but with a slight savory texture. Good balance, great food wine - a go-to for drinking good red in hot weather.
Oregon and Washington Pinot Noirs are usually too expensive for me - not this one - great wine at a great price - I'll buy it again.
Absolutely excellent every time I uncork.A great red wine.
