The Keyhole Ranch was a working cattle ranch when it was purchased by the Seghesio family in 1961. Situated in the Russian River appellation, the marine-influenced cool climate of the Keyhole Ranch is ideally suited for producing Pinot Noir.
Located in northern Russian River Valley, this vineyard's microclimate is tempered by cool coastal breezes and frequent summer-morning fog. These climatic conditions provide an optimum growing environment for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Arneis. The soils are composed of gravel (Los Robles) and clay loams.
