Winemaker's Notes

Dark ruby color. Intense flavors of black cherry, boysenberry and blueberry. Wonderful nose of rose petals and spice combined with a delightful earthiness. A big, but well balanced wine with good acid and soft tannins to complement the conentrated fruit flavors. A wine that reveals layer upon layer of mouthwatering structure, depth and complexity as it lingers on the palette.

Critical Acclaim

"Bold, ripe and assertive, with rich, distinctive blueberry, huckleberry and boysenberry fruit that's pure and delicious. This is tightly focused on the fruit, showing hints of mineral, sage, cola and earth on the finish. Finally the vintage in which the estate wine struts its stuff. Drink now through 2015. 348 cases made."
