Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Brut Rosé Juvé y Camps is produced from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Feixa 1 vineyard at the Espiells estate. The free run juice is allowed a brief maceration on the skins.

The wine is of a pretty, deep pink color. On the nose there are both floral and berry fruit notes in perfect harmony. Long bottle aging – 3 years -has brought balance, length and weight while retaining freshness and vivacity.

Critical Acclaim

"The Non-Vintage Pinot Noir Rose Brut is salmon pink in color with alluring cherry blossom and strawberry aromas and flavors. Broad on the palate with savory, spicy fruit, it will make a superb match for jamon Iberico and other charcuterie. "

My first Rose bought for Valentine's Day. Bubbly red wine...why not? Dry, light, flavorful. I will definitely buy it again.

This Rose has a strong fruit flavor that is both wonderful alone or great for mimosas. It has a very balanced flavor, and was a compliment to our brunch.

Pleasant and refreshing, but a little dull. It was like drinking a mixture of Kool-aid and mineral water.

Learn About Rosé

Pink Bubbles Some Champagne and sparkling wine is pink. It's more rare, and more robust, and sometimes more expensive. But it's one of those wines that is just deliciously appealing. The pink color in a rose sparkler comes from the skins - which means that the wine must include at least one of the red grapes of the traditional method - Pinot Noir or Pinot...
