Jessup Cellars 1997 Zinfandel is a rich, mouthwatering, and zingy wine. It has a deep ruby color with a beautiful jammy edge that lingers on the palate. Ripe black cherries, plums and current flavored with a cedary peppermint spice give this a unique pleasure in the mouth. The balance of tannin and oak enhance the experience of drinking the wine now, but is big enough to age for years.
