"...This decadent effort lustfully satisfies corporal pleasures. To top it all off, its long, supple finish slathers the palate with additional waves of hedonistic fruit..."-Wine Advocate
One of the advantages of having made wine in the Columbia Valley since the mid-
1980s is the opportunity it's given me to work with some of the most dedicated
growers in the industry. Our Columbia Valley wines are made from a short list of
vineyards I consider to be among the best in the state. The diversity of these
vineyards – representing many of the most mature, carefully managed sites in
Washington – provides for a full range of fruit expression that allows me to craft
complex, multi-layered wines true to Columbia Valley terroir as well as the varietal
character of the grapes. Our 2003 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon includes
grapes from Champoux, Seven Hills, Ciel du Cheval, Klipsun and Red Mountain
This Cabernet Sauvignon is alive with aromas of black cherries and hints of plums.
Detailed and graceful, this smooth-textured wine drapes the palate with blackberry
jam, mocha and raspberries flavors. Its impressive character culminates in a long,
rich finish. Drink now through 2020.
Family-owned. Artisan winemaking. Acclaimed Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. You’ve heard dozens of wineries make these claims, and while these statements are certainly true of Januik wines, they seem a little cliché too.
So rather than tell you who we are, we invite you to try our wines or visit us at our new Woodinville winery and let us earn your trust. If Januik becomes your go-to wine, we’ve done our job.

It encompasses a number of smaller regions, including Yakima Valley, Walla Walla Valley, Red Mountain and more. The vast area consists of a range of climates, allowing viticulturists to plant a diverse selection of grape varieties. Most wineries plant rows sparsely, which...Read More About Columbia Valley
(cab-uhr-NAY sow-veeh-yawn) King of Red Many refer to Cabernet Sauvignon as the king of red grapes. Perhaps that title is due to its ability to grow worldwide in a number of climates, or to the fact that it produces wine with such character yet such diversity. Either way, this grape is responsible, as a whole or a partner, for some of the greatest wines in the world. In Bordeaux,...Read More About Cabernet Sauvignon
