Winemaker's Notes

Pinot Grigio is widely planted in Italy and the best comes from the Friuli region where the Jacuzzi family once lived. This Pinot Grigio is bright, crisp and well-balanced with delicious tropical, pear and peach flavors.

My first surprise is that the wine had a pinkish hue. So, maybe it was a bad bottle. I need to dip back into the cellar and see what the others look like. I like a crisp PG and this was too earthy. I had overtones of yeast and fruit is very apparent . I tried it more chilled and less chilled and it does taste better if very chilled. Try one bottle first.
