Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

This rare Deep Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon is made in the saigneé style from premium grapes grown in our family's prized Atlas Peak and Pope Valley vineyards. These vineyards produce an extraordinary rosé, rich in color and flavor - the result is a wine with incredible concentration, structure and acidity from fully mature Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.

Captivating aromas of strawberry, cranberry and red apple fill the glass. Light-weight in the mouth with waves of bright red fruit that roll across the palate. Mouth watering acidity dances on the tongue complementing a juicy finish.

This mouthwatering Deep Rosé pairs well with a wide variety of dishes from spicy Thai cuisine to roasted salmon and Thanksgiving turkey. Enjoy lightly chilled with Valentine's Day chocolates, or be more adventurous and pour it over ice with a spritz of sparkling water and a slice of blood orange to try the "Isabel Rocks" cocktail.

Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
