Il Borro

The Il Borro estate extends to 1,730 acres below the Pratomagno hills on terrain with good structure and sandy composition. Today, the Ferragamo family, with the help of Enologist Niccolo’ D’Afflitto have been working to develop the agricultural practices that have been used at Il Borro since 1760 under the ownership of Medici-Tornaquinci. In addition to wine the estate also produces olive oil and other agricultural products. The agri-turistic activity receives guests both in the medieval site, with over 1,000 years of history, and also in “old” canonic houses perfectly restored and located inside the estate.
