Winemaker's Notes:

Our 2007 vintage opens with aromas of lemon-lime, ripe orange and peach, with a touch of honey and vanilla. An off-dry wine, it has the trademark juicy apricot and bright tangerine on the palate, with a pleasing mineral note and a refreshingly crisp finish.

Riesling is a very versatile, food-friendly wine and one of the few wines that pairs well with spicy curry dishes or Chinese cuisine. Pour it alongside a Thai shrimp curry or chicken in a tangy Chinese orange sauce. Riesling is also a fine match for seafood. Try it with grilled halibut, pan-seared scallops, or baked rock cod.

About The Hogue Cellars:

The Hogue Cellars, founded in 1982 by Mike and Gary Hogue, is located in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley, the premier grape growing region of the state. The climate and soils of the Columbia Valley produce grapes with intense fruit flavors and high natural acidity. The wines have a liveliness and ripe, zesty fruit flavors that make them ideal complements to a wide range of foods.
