Aromas of raspberries, black cherries and a hint of vanilla. Ripe flavors of cherries, plum and currant mingle with hints of nutmeg and graphite, with a touch of toasty oak. Silky, youthful tannins continue to a lingering finish.
Big & Bold
Rich yet smooth- a nice bottle to have either with a meal or just on it's own. Had before a holiday meal, and everyone enjoyed (which is rare in our family).
I agree more with Wine Spectators 88pt rating. Thats about it. Nothing more, nothing less. (Some of the others have rated it higher) Overall an "OK" Cab. Not sure I agree with the smoothness. And its Quite "bold" in my opinion. Not worth $24 that I paid for it. You could find several in the $12-$15 category that would beat this one.
