The wine's nose is elegant and complex with effusive black cherry up-front and underlying notes of violet, pain grillé, cumin and faint
notions of freshly plowed earth. Flavors in the mouth are berry, cherry, sweet dried cranberries, clove and allspice. Texturally, the wine is silky with nice acidity and a minerality that drive the wine's finish. Our Green Valley Vineyards provide the wine's complex and
effusive fruit and brown spice impressions. The Sebastopol Hills brings keen acidity and minerality and the Laguna Ridge red and dark fruit and the faint notes of cumin and loam.
We found this wine fairly unimpressive, as far as pinot noirs go. It lacked spice and a full flavor profile.
