Winemaker's Notes

Layered avors of stone fruit, yellow apple and baking spices are complemented by a rich and weighty mid-palate and a mineral-driven nish.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2010 Chardonnay Four Hearts Vineyards, from Tom Dehlinger’s vineyards on Laguna Ridge, displays a lovely combination of intensity of fruit and minerality. All of the elements meld together beautifully in this textured, complete Chardonnay. Lemon peel, mint, flowers and crushed rocks inform the expressive finish. The Four Hearts grows beautifully with time in the glass.
Range: 91-93"

"Bright yellow. Pungent pineapple, tangerine and peach aromas are complicated by smoky minerals and ginger. Rich and weighty but energetic, offering sappy citrus and tropical fruit flavors and a chewy texture. Impressively lively on the finish, leaving notes of spices and citrus zest behind."
