This Cabernet Sauvignon shows great balance and persistency of flavour. It is produced using traditional open fermenters and basket pressed to ensure a rich, full bodied wine with fine, firm tannins.
The palate shows blackberry and plum fruit flavours with a fresh minty lift. The primary fruit flavours are complexed by spicy vanillin oak characters, the result of 18 months maturation in French and American oak. This classic Australian Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking beautifully now but can be cellared successfully for 10 years.
