Hahn Estates Merlot 2010

This deep-ruby Merlot opens with aromas of dark cherry, plum, dried herbs and tea. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied, with layers of black currant, cherry, bittersweet chocolate and tobacco supported by bright acid and broad tannins. The finish is long and memorable.

This wine is delightful when paired with rich and hearty pasta dishes or succulent meats. Try it with grilled beef tenderloin and wild mushroom ragout, or with bold Italian pasta slathered in a meaty tomato-based sauce.

Blend: 83% Merlot, 12% Petite Sirah, 5% Petit Verdot
