Winemaker's Notes

"Bright straw color. Vibrant, high-pitched aromas of minerals and marzipan suggest both energy and richness. Full, smoky and densely packed, with intense flavors of pear liqueur, licorice candy, sweet butter, truffle and oatmeal. This could be from Chassagne. Full, broad and rich on the finish but with excellent focus and nerve to the wild, mineral-inflected orchard fruit flavors."
