Winemaker's Notes:

This wine is the culmination of extreme attention to detail. Our fastidious viticultural and winemaking techniques during a cool growing season yielded a fresh, vibrant wine with pure regional varietal character and flinty aromas reminiscent of a young Meursault. Deceivingly pale at first glance, this light straw-colored wine has tremendous concentration, structure and verve – with steely precision and a superb lemony persistence. Intriguing aromas of white flower petal, lime zest and graphite excite the senses even before the first sip. Incredibly balanced, this Chardonnay delivers flavors of lemon oil, white peach, pear and roasted hazelnut that weave together on the palate, creating a seductive texture and mouthcoating finish. The acid backbone and phenolic structure will allow this wine to age beautifully in bottle for many years to come.
