This 2007 Chardonnay is full bodied, yet elegantly structured with delicate mineral, honey, citrus and stone fruit characters from the Carneros lots, and classic pear and apple notes from the South Napa vineyards. The mouthfeel is soft and round; again, a benefit of using wild yeasts. Pale yellow in color. Bright apple and citrus. Floral notes of honeysuckle and tree fruit aromas of white nectarine, Macintosh apple and D'anjou pear. Hints of delicate toasty oak, honey and mineral tones. Fresh, bright and round. Good weight and intensity with a vibrant mouth feel. Flavors of baked pear, apple tart and creaminess fill the palate. Finishes with lingering minerality,
hints of pear and citrus, along with crisp acidity.
