Immensely fragrant and brimming with dark,
rich flavors of briary blackberries, plums and cherries, this wine is dense and highly fruity but with ample points of intrigue from notes of
vanilla, espresso, nutmeg and alluring wood nuances.
"Just one word for this Zin: delicious. It's really classic Dry Creek, maybe a little softer than many, but profoundly ripe in wild berry, cherry, cola, licorice, black pepper and sandalwood flavors that finish long and deep. Great price for a Zinfandel this good.
Earthy & Spicy
Unfortunately the 2009 Zinfandel was just a little sharp for my taste. I am sure many would enjoy it and I suggest it for consumption with a heavy meal. For a red wine it deserves a minimum of three stars.
