Disappointing to say the least. Bland, difficult to distinguish the varietal if you did not know what you were drinking. There are numerous splendid wines on the market at this price point, so stay away from this one. It is evident that the grapes used to make this particular Merlot must of come from a hogpog of grapes from varying areas and perhaps even less than desirable grapes. Roger was right, it tastes like beard hair and Sofia's sweat.
