The 2005 growing season was relatively mild, which allowed the fruit to
mature slowly over a longer period of time. As a result, this wine displays
a rich color, intense aromatics, and an exceptional concentration of flavors
that linger on the finish.
The appearance is a dark garnet. It has aromas of plums, red currants, and vanilla, and flavors of blackberry, plum, and rum raisin.
Smooth, very pleasant. Great "before dinner" glass of wine, but also fares well with food. Good value.
