This wine is a dense, inky-purple colour with an enticing nose displaying aromas of ripe blackberries, blood plum and dark cherry. Bold flavours of blackberry and liquorice combined with a subtle hint of sweet mint combine to create this stylish, medium bodied red.
A classic partner to slow-cooked beef dishes, or for something a little different try after dinner with some dark chocolate or mature cheese.

Four Sisters Winery
Four Sisters is the creation of Trevor Mast, owner and winemaker at Mount Langi Ghiran, world famous for its Langi Shiraz. One year his four daughters created the wine label design as a birthday surprise. Produced with the help of the eldest daughter Daliah, a graphic designer, the label depicts each one of the sisters – from the left they are Sophie, Anja, Daliah and Ineke.
Delighted with the label mock up and his daughters' plans for a wine aptly named Four Sisters, Trevor initially crafted a small production wine from the vineyard growing behind the family home. However, with the positive response from all who tried the wine and heard the original story behind it, Four Sisters is now a successful brand with a range of four classic Australian varieties. From stickies to Pinot Noir, Victoria is varied in its wines. The southernmost state of Australia, Victoria is third in wine production, after South Australia and New South Wales. The state is home to the cool-climate Yarra Valley, Yarra Valley, a producer of quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well the warmer regions of Rutherglen & Glenrowan. These two areas are hot and dusty and famous for their sweet, fortified stickies.

Definitely a smooth and supple wine and nothing bold about this, however the taste was excellent and could taste the hint of mint in it as well, I enjoyed it from start to finish, kind of a strange style for a CS but great drinkability and perfect especially at price for a gift
