Winemaker's Notes:

Compared with previous vintages the consistency of forward fruit depth and soft, restrained tannins continues a style that the vineyards present to us. Pronounced cherry, rose petal and spicy flavors in a silky soft body come from our older (20 years) vineyards which are planted to a high percentage of Wadensvil close and a low percentage of Pommard. These wines offer strong and pure cassis, earthy notes and richer, more velvety body. The delicacy of our Pinot is also due to gentle winemakeing regime of whole berry fermentation, punchdown and no pumping of fermented must.
