We work to retain the pretty blueberry and cranberry characteristics of the fruit. If you came by the winery during harvest, you would see our winemakers attired in waders doing walk-arounds instead of pumpovers. We think this makes a difference! The wine is aged 9 months in Burgundian barrels. We do not blend our Sangiovese because we want to celebrate the bright Sangiovese fruit without fear of having it overwhelmed by other varietals.
