A little charred and hard on the nose, with licorice, pepper, mint and coffee aromas. The palate is perfectly balanced and quite generous, with massive blackberry and chocolate flavors. Spicy and long on the finish, with moca notes. Definitely a ripe, big-boned wine.

The Uco Valley is located at the foothills of the Andes mountain range. Millions of years ago, some parts of the mountain range were submerged under the sea, which explains the presence (at more than 1 200 m/3 900 ft.a.s.l.) of sea fossils like the ammonite, which represents us through our logo. They are considered silent witnesses of the origin of the Andes and today, by being part of our genuine terroir, are witnesses of the origin of our wines.
Most distinguished and celebrated from Argentina’s Mendoza, Malbec has seen runaway success since the early 2000s. Mendoza’s agreeable, continental climate with hot, dry summers and cold snowy winters allows the perfect conditions for growing outstanding Malbec. This grape is easy to like for its lusty, deep flavors and aromas of blackberry, plum, red cherry, autumn spice and tilled earth. It’s easy to find delicious, fruit-driven, affordable everyday examples and in prices beyond, quite exceptional ones with dense, supple textures that make them capable of aging.
