Fife Old Vines Zinfandel (half-bottle) 2000

75 year old Zinfandel vines - 50 year old Petite Syrah vines. Vibrant fruit aromas of boysenberry, pomegranate and pie cherries are complemented by baking spices and vanilla oak. On the palate the wine is rich and loaded with ripe fruit and spice, yet shows finesse and complexity. One more thing - it has a long and luscious finish, thanks to the age of the vines.
