"Leave a mark on the world"; This is the unspoken duty of the Corsini family that influences their daily lives. Add your mark to nine centuries of history, in which trade, finance, politics, religion, diplomacy, and agriculture have each, sometimes simultaneously, been the repositories of the Corsini family’s potential and capacity. Today, that mark is above all in agriculture and land, to safeguard and use the landscape in the name of the natural territory.
Duccio Corsini ensures the mark is made in the territory of Chianti Classico at Villa Le Corti, side by side with his wife Clotilde, and in the Grosseto region of Maremma with his sister Sabina. Wine, olive oil, hospitality, and the aspiration to balance modern agriculture and cultural conservation. As Duccio himself often says, “Our shoes are still getting dirty in the mud, that’s why we farmers are producers of air.” In the past, the Corsini family left their mark in artistic heritage and as patrons; today they are the patrons of the beauty and environmental well-being of the landscape and to all the progress it has the potential to make.
