Winemaker's Notes

Fall Creek Vineyards produced numerous lots of Chardonnay from various vineyards primarily in the Edwards Plateau Hill Country of Texas. This particular blend was fermented very cold with Pris de Mousse yeast, and about 30% of this wine was aged in oak for four months. The effort here was to show Chardonnay fruit character balanced with moderate oak flavors. The result is a very user friendly Chardonnay, refreshing in character and suited to a broad array of foods.
