This review is for the 08 vintage Excelsior. The wine has a deep color that draws you in. scent of back currant, plum, cherry, and slight tobacco. This wine has soft tannins and, a smooth finish. I think for the money, this is a great wine. That's why I decided to give this wine four stars.

This is a very tasty red with lots of fruit and soft tannins. For the price, it's hard to beat. We had it with meatloaf and even through some dark chocolate cupcakes!
