Intense color, varying between deep garnet and dark ruby. This Moulin-a-Vent is suggestive of both flowers and fruit, particularly violets and cherries. Well-structured with moderate tannins, delicately spiced, it offers complexity and good length, elegance and harmony, power and velvet.

The Wine...Duboeuf Moulin-a-Vent 2010...The scence...dinnner at home with the boys...a bottle that I ordered bacause the wife wanted a beaujolais for a baking recipe she wanted to try and I read a list of wines to consume for summer and the latter won out. This was not consumed in some baking recipe but with dinner in wine glasses...lovely color to swirl in the glass and was a bit chilled that had a nice ripe taste to it...is a very nice wine to be had during the end of summer...I would buy again..
