Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.
The wine, distinguished and supple with the fragrance of violets, has all the features of a Fleurie.

Risotto > Mushroom, Beef > Burgers
I really enjoyed this wine - the nose was super aromatic and floral, but with lots of spice and cherry, too. You could mistake this one for a light-bodied Pinot Noir. Great with any mushroom dish as it has a lovely earthy component to it. Or throw it with a delicious burger for a treat :)
Smooth & Supple
Very smooth and silky
Light-bodied, dry, and acidic. Bouquet is floral with red fruits and the tannins are soft. I like the mouth-watering acidity.
Light & Fruity
Grape stem, cranberry, red cherry, cinnamon, and some savory notes make up the bouquet. Light, but deep. Nice complexity, red fruits, baking spices, great acidity. Fine-grained tannin, good finish that’s quick and clean. Give it a decant if you wish, but I prefer to serve it chilled, 20 minutes in the fridge.
3.5 stars--strawberry with a bit of funk, the funk dissipated after 3 hours of air. Good QPR.
Light & Fruity
This is a very ordinary example of a Fleurie, no better than a regular Beaujolais. It certainly does not merit the Wins Spectator score of 90.
