Winemaker's Notes

Medium dark ruby red. Bright, vibrant and high-toned aromas with great energy. Rainier cherry, fresh raspberry, pine needle, fragrant roses, a touch of iron. Classic coastal palate with explosive fruits: fresh raspberry coulis, huckleberry, bing cherry. Full-bodied, rich and satisfying, but always bright and juicy. Dusty cocoa powder, tobacco and more pine needle freshness to finish. Drink between 2012 and 2020.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2010 Pinot Noir Aidan Wildrose Vineyard is a model of elegance, restraint and polish. Roses, violets and flowers of all sorts lead to expressive red berries. There is a weightless, lifted quality to the 2010 that is unbelievably appealing. A vivid, utterly haunting wine, the 2010 is firing on all cylinders today. An intriguing interplay of savory and saline nuances lingers on the finish, while the 25% whole clusters are beautifully integrated throughout."
94 Points

"Vivid ruby. Bright, pungent scents of cherry-cola, floral oils, exotic oak spices, incense and minerals. Concentrated but lively, with very good clarity to its sweet dark berry flavors. Tangy mineral nuances enliven the wonderfully persistent finish, which features gentle tannins and a sexy floral pastille nuance."
93 Points

"Offers wonderful aromatics and flavors to match. This is tight, detailed and deftly balanced, with dark berry, mineral, cedar and dried herb notes. Presents an impressive, finely detailed finish."
