Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Straw color with light green hues and brilliant clarity. Lifted aroma of passion fruit, supported by citrus notes. Fresh, lively mouthwatering palate with tropical fruit notes to the front and zesty citrus giving excellent weight and length. An intensely flavored, elegant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. A fantastic aperitif or an ideal accompaniment to light seafood and chicken dishes.

Critical Acclaim

"There's a distinct tropical note to the juicy pineapple, passion fruit, melon and citrus flavors, where a lime peel detail weaves in and out. Smooth, juicy and very appealing, with a long finish. Drink now. 15,000 cases imported. "
