At first swirl, Foggy Oaks Chardonnay presents a crisp exotic spice character. After several minutes in the glass, more subtle notes of melon, honeysuckle, and apricot appear. On the palate, the wine is balanced and luscious, held together with bright acidity and good structure. Flavors of vanilla, pear, and nutmeg round out the mouth feel, leading to a seamless finish that lingers on and on.
"Wins points for subtlety and finesse, this ripe, smooth and polished white shows ripe pear, melon, spice and hazelnut, ending with a fleshy, supple finish. Drink now through 2015."

Dry Creek is always a trusted go to wine on any wine list. Delicious and consistant but not too oakey. Why most wines from the Russian River Valley sooo wonderful? Additionally, having it delivered at my doorstep at this price is a real treat !
I like this wine. Fruit on the nose. Very buttery with a bit of zest when you taste it. Not too crisp - good body! Nice price point!
