For Dr. Pauly and his winemaker and superintendent since 1973, Edmund Licht, the essential objective is to maintain intact, that which nature gives. This opulent, rich Riesling displays fresh fruit aromas of peach and apricot with the racy minerals flavors of the black blue slate from the Devon times. It has racy acidity which complements the fruit character nicely.

Food pairing: Try with spiced asian or Southern foods. You will be surprised of this unique combination.

Aging: German premium Rieslings are known for their cellaring potential. So this Riesling Spatlese has a cellaring potential of at least 20 years.
