Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

This rosé has brilliant pale pink tones and intense fruit on the nose, with aromas of white peaches and exotic fruits. On the palate, it has a lively attack, with a nicely balanced mouthfeel as the fruit aromas noticed on the nose quickly follow through on the palate. The finish leaves a lovely impression of exotic softness. Domaniers Rosé will be a delicious companion to delicatessen meats, poultry, white meats, fish, Provençal and Asian dishes.

Critical Acclaim

"Rich and minerally, with slate and pepper accents to the dried cherry and plum flavors. Features dried mango and citrus on the zesty finish. Drink now. 5,400 cases imported."

I am a huge fan of French Rose specifically, but this one was a bit disappointing. The aromas were minimal and the flavor was not as crisp and fruity as I typically enjoy.
