We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
This highly concentrated wine, made from vines planted on the best slopes and terraces of the famous Rasteau soils, has an appealingly strong personality. Besides aromas of very ripe fruit, it is generally laced with notes of spice and garrigue scrubland scents specific to this terroir. Also known as Rancio. As a Cotes du Rhone Village, Rasteau produces excellent wines, some as high quality as any Rhone AC.
