Winemaker's Notes

Blend: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah This wine, using grapes from a selection of the finest slopes and narrow terraces of the famous terroir of Rasteau, is very concentrated and has an appealingly forceful personality. Besides aromas of very ripe fruits, it generally offers spicy notes and scrubland scents typical to this terroir. A fine tannic structure from the outset, very much in the Beaurenard style: this is a wine of great character, elegant and well-balanced. Pairs well with mushrooms and rabbit dishes.

Adding vineyards over the past 300 years,...

Most wines from the Southern Rhone use Grenache as their...
