Winemaker's Notes

Pinot Noir made from the Jerusalem Hill vineyard has aromas that are rich with dark fruits, dried cherries, wild game and spice. In the mouth, the wine is powerful and brawny, mouth coating on the mid-palate and has lingering tannins on the finish. This wine will reward several years of cellaring.

Critical Acclaim

"Sumptuously sweet black fruits are found in the nose of the 2003 Pinot Noir Jerusalem Hill Vineyard. Medium to full-bodied and highly structured, it offers a dense, powerful core of dark cherries that are enveloped with huge quantities of ripe, highly present tannin."
